Series Description:

Kaira and Shalebra have been best friends since kindergarten, but they couldn’t be more different. Kaira is an orphan raised by an aunt and uncle; Shalebra (she prefers to be called Shal), has a loving family. Kaira is an introverted dreamer who imagines knights in shining armor rescuing damsels in distress; Shal is an extroverted realist who is always trying to pull Kaira out of her books and into the “real” world.

Now a mysterious blue myst has transported them to the kingdom of Luthania and it is up to Kaira to face an evil that knows no bounds, protect those she cares the most about and find where she truly belongs.
